Resonances is a one-hour long concert, in which pieces by baroque composers are mixed with new compositions. In this way, a musical dialogue between past and present is created, both as the new compositions revolve around the baroque pieces, and as we play "old" and "new" sounds with "old instruments" - replicas from Baroque instruments.

Old and new sounds mix

Enjoy this unique concert in which old and new sounds mix, thus creating a link between past and present.
In this programme, the Early Music ensemble Celeritas (Julia Hernández Sánchez, baroque violin, and Eduardo Gaspar Polo Baader, traverso) presents a programme of Baroque pieces combined with new compositions by Miguel Villanueva, Nirantar Yakthumba and Eduardo Gaspar Polo Baader.

Celeritas
Celeritas is a young ensemble based in Delft and The Hague. With their concerts and projects they aim at building a community and raising questions about the role of artists in our contemporary society, how art should engage with sustainability-related matters, and how we can listen to musical cultural heritage while relating it to the world today.
